Would love to have you @JohanNagel ? :D
Oh yay! :D
Maybe want a slot to chat about how System Crash is going? :) You could even just convert one of your many lovely blog posts into a micro-design talk centered around System Crash? :)
And thanks! Glad you're enjoying the blog posts!
but it looks like I won't make enough progress by tuesday.
So much to do still... :/
Looking forward to the evening though.
You didn't mention your son's age? Everyone is welcome to attend. We have a friendly engaging environment, but keep in mind that the majority of attendees are student age or older, so there's no guarantee of language being E for Everyone :)
If you are a programmer/engineer who knows Unity (not just someone who can script a game in Unity) or know someone who is, I need to talk to you about a really interesting opportunity, so please make sure to attend the meetup tonight where I can tell you more!
Before that is all socialising and early playtesting :).
Thank you to everyone for such an awesome evening! I am really looking forward to seeing you in June - promise I'll have more to say than last night's "AA" introduction and will stick around longer to play some games! I'm going to bring the SGI-SA team along next time - it's going to be fun! Can't wait to get SGI-SA more involved in our awesome MGSA community - 'you are good people'!
I think this format for the meetings is really starting to get plenty of useful information out there in a more structured manner. Thanks everyone :)
I really hope to contribute in a more substantive sense towards the industry soon. Sooner than later :)
And I really enjoyed @JohanNagel's talk, great insights there. :)
Just wanted to say thanks for a great evening - was very informative, and looking forward to seeing you all next month again!
@JohanNagel and @garethf's talks were inspired and congrats to everyone for putting up such a generous field of games to playtest :).
Loving the direction the Joburg Community is heading :).
Was also great to see some of our Veterans again (@tbulford, @chippit etc.)!
